Lifestyle Update: Winter Blues

Winter is upon us, meaning coldness, christmas and chicken soup for those chilly evenings! I used to love the Winter purely for the XMAS hype but this year it seems to be at the back of my mind. Besides the Christmas time means eating and eating and breaking those 'diets' and leaving those gym visits for the new year!!! Oooopppsssss.

Anyway, I recently came across an amazing article on the internet which made those winter blues fade away. So inspiring and basically changed my views on how I should treat my body! The article in simplest form highlighted the importance of focusing on the positives and avoiding the negative energy you feel when you avoid the gym or eat a little too much cake! The idea of not hateing yourself for cheating on your diet suprisingly is the main reason we all fail with a new healthy lifestyle! Makes sense.

So I hope any readers feeling the pressure of the chocolate season and the threat of cheating on those diets realise that punishing the body isn't the solution, stay positive and take care!

The more you look after yourself the more motivation you feel.... No more winter blues
